1 Product Overview
Proper installation methods:
l The infrared transceiver needs to be aligned with the infrared window of the meter.
l The infrared transceiver can be placed 0 to 5 meters away from the meter.
l There needs to be no barrier between the infrared transceiver and the meter and it needs to be visible.
l The infrared transceiver and the meter can be separated by transparent glass.
l The installation Angle is less than 5 degrees.
SC-GP-IR485 infrared meter transceiver is a general meter launched by Shanghai Data Acquisition IOT Technology Co., LTD. RS485 based on infrared communication, infrared meter photoelectric probe, can collect electric energy data, voltage, current, power factor and other electric parameter data of state grid electricity meter.
Introduction to the principle of infrared meter reading: The infrared photoelectric probe can regularly read the parameter information of the smart meter through the infrared optical port and upload it. The infrared meter reader has the function of infrared signal modulation and demodulation, modulating the binary digital signal into a pulse sequence of 38 KHz frequency, and driving the infrared emitting diode to send out in the form of infrared light pulse; the transceiver converts the received light pulse into electrical signal, and then amplify, filter and send to the demodulation circuit for demodulation, restore to the binary digital signal, after the message analysis, send to the server according to the specified format (such as Json).
This product supports all kinds of meter reading scenarios of meters, gas meters, flowmeters and other meters with infrared communication interfaces. It is suitable for power meter data collection, smart city data collection, power monitoring data collection, energy saving and emission reduction data monitoring system data collection, energy consumption monitoring system data collection, photovoltaic system data collection, intelligent monitoring data collection, robot data collection, intelligent security system data collection, cloud platform system data collection; electricity meter verification and testing table; especially suitable for the lead seal of total meter of state grid of power supply bureau is completely closed, and not sealed.
